SNCF is a rail transport company. The SNCF Connect website offers a range of services for booking tickets for trains and everyday transport.

The Oui SNCF website has changed its name to SNCF Connect. The services offered for booking train tickets remain the same, via a new user interface. In addition, a new offer to purchase daily tickets is now available on the SNCF Connect website (TER and Navigo season tickets, etc.).

The SNCF Connect website offers its passengers a wide choice of rail companies: TGV INOUI, OUIGO, INTERCITÉS, TGV Lyria, Eurostar, Thalys, OBB Nightjet, DB SNCF partnership, TER, etc.

• Book in advance: Tickets are often cheaper when purchased several months ahead of time (2 to 6 months).
• Choose less popular travel times: Travel during off-peak hours to enjoy lower fares.
• Check out our "Good deals" page: Enjoy flash sales and discounts regularly offered by carriers.
• Participate in ticket sale openings: Book as soon as tickets go on sale for a specific travel period. The first tickets sold are usually the cheapest.
• Subscribe to our newsletter: Receive the best offers and deals directly in your inbox.
• Allow notifications in our app: Stay informed in real time about the latest deals.

Follow these simple steps to book your journey:

(Important: If you have an SNCF Connect customer account, make sure to log in before adding your travel profile.)

• Search for your trip: Enter your departure and arrival stations and your travel date in the search form.
• Select your train: Compare train schedules, fares, and options, then choose the offer that suits you best.
• Book your ticket: Fill in your personal details (contact information, discount cards, or subscriptions if applicable) if you’ve never purchased a train ticket on SNCF Connect before, and proceed to secure payment.
• Receive your ticket: Access your e-ticket directly in the SNCF Connect app, import your trip with the booking reference, or download it as a PDF from your confirmation email.

Train companies release tickets several months in advance, allowing you to book early and enjoy lower fares:

• OUIGO: up to 9 months in advance
• TGV INOUI, Intercités, TER: 3 to 4 months in advance
• Eurostar: 6 months in advance
• TGV Lyria: 6 months in advance
• DB SNCF: 6 months in advance

Ticket sale openings, which mark the release of tickets for specific periods (e.g., holidays, events), also provide an opportunity to book early.

The trains available on the site connect most of the major French cities and allow you to easily cross France. With SNCF Connect, travelling to major European cities has never been easier. You will find tickets for numerous European train companies such as Eurostar, TGV Lyria. This means you can easily travel to the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain or Switzerland. 

All train timetables are available in real-time on the SNCF Connect website or app, either by searching for your journey using the website's search bar, or by accessing your digital ticket or traffic information. 

You can choose your seat for long-distance journeys when you book your ticket on the SNCF Connect website or app. Depending on the rail company and the type of ticket booked, you can indicate your preference: lower or upper level, two-seat or single or square set-up, window or aisle seat, ...
 

The services offered depend on the rail company and the types of tickets you book. They may therefore vary.

You can find a range of services, such as free on-board Wi-Fi, bar and vending machines, luggage storage, power sockets, bicycle storage, and services for the visually impaired or people with reduced mobility.

SNCF Connect offers different types of train tickets: 

• The Prem's ticket is the cheapest ticket, exchangeable and refundable under certain conditions, and available up to 4 months before the train's departure.
• The second-class train ticket offers you the essentials for a pleasant journey at an affordable price.
• The first-class train ticket provides greater comfort.
• The OPTIMUM ticket is only available for INOUI TGVs and is reserved for business travellers. It offers greater flexibility, especially for last-minute train journeys.

Some fares are cheaper if you book the outward and return journeys at the same time rather than separately. Some deals or lower fares are only applicable if both the outward and return journey are purchased at the same time.
