Travel with OUIGO Grande Vitesse

The TGV OUIGO Grande Vitesse serve more than 50 destinations in France, including the main French cities: Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice, Lille, Rennes, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Strasbourg.

New destinations are now accessible at low prices with OUIGO Grand Vitesse: La Rochelle and Brest since December 11, 2022, and Perpignan since March 27, 2023! All major intermediate stations (such as Narbonne, Niort or Saint Brieuc) are also served.

With your OUIGO Grande Vitesse ticket, you can take with you, at no extra cost:

2 pieces of carry-on luggage up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm /  15.7 × 11.8 × 5.9 in (height x width x depth)
1 piece of carry-on luggage up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm / 15.7 × 11.8 × 5.9  in (height x width x depth) + 1 piece of cabin luggage up to 55 x 35 x 25 cm / 22 x 14 x 10 in (height x width x depth)
 

If your luggage exceeds the above dimensions, don't worry, take the "extra luggage" option when booking. Each additional piece of luggage is charged an additional 5€ per person, limited to 2 additional luggage.

Note: you can travel with your bicycle on board OUIGO TGV trains! Simply select the "folded or disassembled bike in a bag" option for 5€ when purchasing your ticket. Your bike must be disassembled and stored in a bag with a maximum size of 120 x 90 cm.

Low-cost TGV means basic on-board services and amenities on OUIGO Grande Vitesse trains. Indeed, if you wish to take extra luggage or use power outlets on board, you will have to pay an extra charge. Luckily, OUIGO has recently launched the all-inclusive OUIGO PLUS offer, for only € 9 more!

The OUIGO PLUS offer includes:

• 1 extra large baggage item
• seat selection on the train layout (solo, with a power outlet or duo)
• a fast-pass service in all Parisian train stations to save time

 
Please note that the OUIGO PLUS offer is free for children under 12 and is only available on OUIGO High Speed trains.

You can also purchase two other options to enhance your journey: OUIFUN, a service offering films, series, podcasts and press for an additional € 5 on your ticket, and OUIFI, an on-board wifi connection on OUIGO High Speed trains, on Paris-Lyon journeys only, for an additional € 3.

Yes, if you select the OUIGO PLUS offer, you can choose your seat on board OUIGO Grande Vitesse trains, subject to availability of course! You can choose a "solo" seat (isolated), a "standard" seat (duo, square or triplet), or a seat with a power outlet to work or play.

Please note seat selection is also possible without a OUIGO PLUS option, for an extra € 3 for duo, square or triplet seats and € 7 for "solo" seats.

As previously mentioned, the OUIGO Grande Vitesse trains have more passengers than TGV INOUI . We recommend that you go to the station 30 minutes before the train's departure so all passengers can board.

Please note that unlike TGV INOUI , where you can buy your tickets until the last minute, access to OUIGO TGVs will be denied 5 minutes before departure.

Yes, you can travel with your pet on OUIGO Grande Vitesse trains. Since June 23, 2022, the ticket price for your pet is 10€, regardless of its weight and size. Note that you can add this option when buying your ticket.

If your OUIGO Grande Vitesse TGV is delayed, you may be entitled to compensation, which will vary depending on the duration of the delay. Therefore:

• If your train is between 1 hour and 1 hour and 59 minutes late, you will get a 25% compensation of the ticket price
• If your train is over 2 hours late on arrival, you will get a 50% compensation of the ticket price
• If your train is less than 1 hour late, you will not get any compensation

Please note that this compensation will be sent automatically by email as a voucher. No action is required from you.

If your OUIGO TGV train is cancelled or no longer running, you can exchange your ticket for another OUIGO Grande Vitesse train for free. See the dedicated page for more information.

OUIGO tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, you can now exchange your OUIGO tickets on SNCF Connect, in the "Tickets" section. You can change your dates, times or routes, for all passengers.
