Travel with OUIGO Train Classique

 OUIGO Train Classique serves 14 destinations in France. To date, the lines operated by the carrier are as follows:

Paris-Nantes (3 daily return trips on two branches):

Northern branch: Paris Austerlitz - Juvisy - Massy-Palaiseau - Versailles Chantiers - Chartres - Le Mans - Angers Saint-Laud - Nantes
Southern branch: Paris Austerlitz - Juvisy - Les Aubrais (4km/2.5mi from Orléans) - Blois-Chambord - Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (4km/2.5mi from Tours) - Saumur - Angers Saint-Laud - Nantes
Paris-Lyon (2 daily return trips) :

Paris Bercy - Villeneuve-Saint-Georges - Melun - Dijon Ville - Chalon-sur-Saône - Mâcon Ville - Lyon Perrache
Each line terminates at Paris Bercy or Paris Austerlitz. Please note that the Ile-de-France train stations in Juvisy, Massy Palaiseau, Versailles Chantiers for the Nantes branch, and Villeneuve Saint Georges, Melun for the Lyon branch, are also served by OUIGO Train Classique. Convenient if you live in the suburbs of Paris!

With OUIGO Train Classique, you can discover famous sites such as the Loire castles (including Blois, Angers, Saumur Chambord) or the vineyards of Burgundy. You can also visit regional capitals, such as Dijon, Nantes, Orleans and Lyon, or stroll along the banks of the Saône or the Loire.

Your OUIGO Train Classique ticket includes one carry-on bag (maximum dimensions 40x30x15cm / 15.7x11.8 ×5.9in)) and one cabin luggage (maximum dimensions 55x35x25cm / 22x14x10in). If you wish to travel with additional luggage, it will cost 5€ per luggage and per person.

At OUIGO, no ticket refund is possible, this also applies to our conventional train lines. However, you can exchange your OUIGO Train Classique ticket for an additional 10€ per exchange. You can use SNCF Connect to change your departure or arrival station, schedules or dates of your trips. To change the name on your ticket or add options, you will need to contact OUIGO.

On board OUIGO Train Classique, passengers have access to basic amenities such as toilets and air-conditioning. However, unlike the OUIGO Grand Vitesse (OUIGO High Speed), there is no Wi-Fi or power outlets on board. A snacking service is available, selling chips, cookies and drinks on board!

Unlike with OUIGO Grand Vitesse (OUIGO High Speed), you do not need to arrive at the station 30 minutes before the departure time listed on your ticket. With OUIGO Train Classique (OUIGO Conventional Train), you can arrive up to 2 minutes before departure! However, seat selection when booking is not available, we apply a "first come, first served" policy.

Yes, you can take a bike on board a  OUIGO Train Classique. However, you will have to pay a small additional fee for your bike. Therefore, a ticket for a folded or disassembled bike (maximum dimensions 130x90cm) will cost 5€, and 10€ for a non-disassembled bike (maximum dimensions 185x95cm).

Are you unsure if you will bring your bike with you? You can add the bike option up to 10 minutes before departure.

To add a bike to your booking, select one of the following two options during the booking step:

1. Folded bike in a bag, 5€ and limited to 1 bike
2. Bicycle not folded or disassembled, 10€ per bike and limited to 2 bikes

Good news, pets can travel on board  OUIGO Train Classique. Whether it's a hamster or a dog, the ticket price will be the same: 10€. It can travel in an adapted transport cage or at your feet (and muzzled), provided that the other passengers agree, of course.

Unfortunately no, seat selection is only available on OUIGO Grand Vitesse. Placement on board OUIGO Train Classique is done automatically.

OUIGO Train Classique can be booked up to 45 days ahead.

For example: on the 1st of January you will find OUIGO Conventional Trains available for booking until the 15th of February.
