Marseille Saint-Charles station is the main railway station in Marseille. Used by more than 16 million passengers a year, it is essential for quickly reaching the largest cities in south-eastern France.

As the centre of the local transport network, Marseille Saint-Charles station is very easy to reach. A metro station bearing its name, located beneath the station, can be reached on metro lines 1 and 2. Many bus lines stop nearby.

What are the main connections from Marseille Saint-Charles station?

With its 16 tracks, Marseille St-Charles station is used by many operators. National services are provided by TGV INOUI and OUIGO. INTERCITÉS and TER services are also available.

A large number of destinations are served from Saint-Charles station. TGV journeys to Paris Gare de Lyon take three hours. You can also travel to cities on the LGV Méditerranée network, such as Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. TGV services can also take you to Lille, Nancy or Strasbourg. INTERCITÉS trains link Marseille to Montpellier, Sète, Toulouse and Bordeaux stations, among others. TER lines run to the main towns in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, including Aubagne, Toulon, Arles, Nice and Cannes.
