Where to go in Europe in April?

Some early European sunshine

From April, temperatures begin to rise slowly throughout Europe, making it the perfect time to head off to Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Crete, Malta, Andalusia, Italy or the Balearic Islands. There is plenty of sunshine in Greece in April, with around 8 hours of sunshine per day and average temperatures of around 15-20°C. If you’re feeling brave, you can even take a dip in the sea without having to worry about the wind spoiling your swim! It is the ideal time to discover the region’s landscapes and heritage.

From London to Amsterdam

April is a great time to visit Andalusia, as temperatures reach around 20°C (or even 30°C!) and there is virtually no rain. Of course, April is also perfect for spending a weekend exploring a European capital: London, Brussels, Budapest, Amsterdam... the choice is yours!
