Discover OPTIMUM / OPTIMUM PLUS

OPTIMUM Class is intended for frequent travellers, often business travellers, who want to enjoy greater comfort and full flexibility, particularly to deal with unexpected changes or last-minute schedule adjustments.

OPTIMUM PLUS Class is designed for travellers seeking an enhanced level of comfort and personalised onboard service. It is available exclusively on TGV INOUI Paris–Lyon trains.

OPTIMUM Class is accessible to all customers holding an OPTIMUM fare or equivalent OPTIMUM fare: Liberté OPTIMUM, negotiated or discounted OPTIMUM fares.
Availability is limited and applies Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and Christmas/summer holidays (6 weeks in July/August, defined annually).
Valid on TGV INOUI trains in France and on services to/from Luxembourg and Freiburg im Breisgau.

Customers travelling with an OPTIMUM ticket have access to:

A fully flexible fare

Ticket refundable free of charge up to 30 minutes after departure

From 30 minutes before departure: 1 exchange permitted

Tickets exchanged within 30 minutes before departure are non-refundable

Tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable more than 30 minutes after departure

A dedicated onboard space

Accessible to all holders of OPTIMUM, OPTIMUM PLUS, or equivalent fares: Liberté OPTIMUM, Liberté OPTIMUM PLUS, and negotiated or discounted OPTIMUM/OPTIMUM PLUS fares.

TGV INOUI Grand Voyageur Lounges

Lounges are accessible to customers with a same-day ticket travelling with an OPTIMUM, OPTIMUM PLUS, Flex Première, Liberté 1st, Liberté OPTIMUM, Liberté OPTIMUM PLUS, negotiated or discounted 1st class, OPTIMUM or OPTIMUM PLUS fare, or a PASS 1ère or MAX PRO 1ère.
Also accessible to same-day travellers holding a Grand Voyageur Le Club loyalty card.
Open Monday to Sunday depending on each lounge’s schedule, in the following stations:
Bordeaux Saint-Jean, Lille Flandres, Lyon Part-Dieu, Marseille Saint-Charles, Nantes, Paris Est, Paris Gare de Lyon, Paris Montparnasse, Paris Nord, Rennes and Strasbourg.

Enhanced entertainment and digital services on the TGV INOUI Portal

A non-refundable offer available in France and on TGV INOUI trains to Freiburg im Breisgau and Luxembourg.
Accessible via the SNCF_WIFI_INOUI network, after identification with SNCF ID or a reservation number.

Dedicated Customer Service

Available to any holder of an OPTIMUM or OPTIMUM PLUS fare (including equivalent fares).
Accessible via the TGV INOUI BOT (bot.tgvinoui.sncf, OPTIMUM section).
Advisors can be reached Monday to Sunday:

8:00–20:00 for OPTIMUM customers

7:00–22:00 for OPTIMUM PLUS customers

Guaranteed Exchange on fully booked trains

Valid for exchanges made on the day of travel.
You may exchange for another same-day train on the same route, even if it is fully booked.
A seat is not guaranteed; boarding is allowed within the limit of available standing space.
Exchange may be refused if passenger safety could be compromised due to overcrowding.

Liberté Card – Discounts on OPTIMUM and OPTIMUM PLUS

45% discount on 1st class Flex Première, OPTIMUM and OPTIMUM PLUS fares, calculated from the standard Flex Première fare (excluding OPTIMUM and OPTIMUM PLUS surcharges).
