Transport your baggage with OUIGO

Your train ticket includes: 

• 1 item of carry-on baggage (55 x 35 x 25 cm, no weight limit)
• 1 item of hand baggage (40 x 30 x 15 cm) 

Handles and wheels included in dimensions. 

On OUIGO Grande Vitesse, baggage must be put under the seats. 

On OUIGO Train Classique, baggage must be put above the seats. 

Do you have a bulky item of baggage or need to take an extra item of baggage? 

• If you are traveling with the OUIGO ESSENTIEL offer, you can add an extra or bulky item of baggage (130 x 90 x 50 cm, weighing no more than 30 kg) for just €5 per trip and per item of baggage. This option is available from the time of booking until 30 minutes before departure.
• If you have opted for the OUIGO PLUS offer on OUIGO Grande Vitesse, a second item of carry-on baggage (55 x 35 x 25 cm) or bulky item of baggage (130 x 90 x 50 cm, weighing no more than 30 kg) is already included in your offer, at no extra charge. If you need more, you can add another item of baggage for an additional €5 per trip.

Good to know:

•  If you have not booked your extra or bulky item of baggage in advance, you will have to pay €20 per item at the station, instead of €5 online.
• With the Baggage option for €5 per item, you are entitled to a maximum of 2 extra or bulky items of baggage per passenger (adult and child).
• The number and dimensions of baggage are checked before boarding the train.
   

In addition to one item of carry-on baggage (55 x 35 x 25 cm) with no weight limit and one item of hand baggage (40 x 30 x 15 cm), here are the items of baggage authorized when you add the extra or bulky items of baggage option:

• Snowboards, skateboards or any other sports equipment, provided they are stored in a bag and measure no more than 130 x 90 x 50 cm.
• Skis, provided they are stored in a specially designed bag and do not exceed 2 meters in length.
• Musical instruments, provided they are carried in a specially designed case, preferably hard, and the size of the case does not exceed 130 x 90 x 50 cm. 

The following are not allowed on board OUIGO trains: 

• Household appliances and televisions.
• Cardboard boxes, shopping bags, shopping carts, carts on wheels.
• Weapons and explosives.
• Coolers.
• Objects and baggage over 2 meters long and weighing more than 30kg.

With OUIGO Grande Vitesse or OUIGO Train Classique, add the extra or bulky item of baggage option for €5 from the time of booking until 30 minutes before boarding begins on your booking.

If your baggage has not been added online via the extra or bulky item of baggage option, you will be asked for a €20 adjustment fee per item of baggage at the station.

All strollers are accepted. 

So are related equipment (carrycot, infant carrier) and backless booster seats. Your stroller must be folded on board the train and placed in the baggage area at the entrance to each car. 

Are you traveling with a child? 

With OUIGO, strollers can be transported free with your child ticket(s). It is limited to 2 strollers per booking and per trip. 

The stroller option is available if a child is indicated at the time of booking. 

Are you traveling without children? 

Add the Baggage option to transport a stroller.

Travel with your bike, standard or electric, or your scooter under certain conditions: 

• Your bike must be folded or disassembled and stored in a specially designed bag (130 x 90 x 50 cm maximum).
• The total weight of your bike or scooter must be less than or equal to 30kg.

 You can add the bike option when you book: 

On OUIGO Grande Vitesse trains: a maximum of 2 bikes folded in a bag, €5/bike 

On OUIGO Train Classique trains:

• Unfolded, disassembled bike: €10/bike with a maximum of 2 bikes.
• Bike folded in a bag: €5/bike with a maximum of 1 bike. 

You are responsible for your bike/scooter for the duration of your trip.
