Payment in 3 or 4 instalments

Payment in 3 or 4 instalments by card is a solution that allows you to spread the cost of your order over 3 or 4 payments, debited from the account linked to your CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Bancontact card.

This payment method is available for any order from €120 up to €2,000, regardless of the carrier (TGV INOUI, OUIGO, INTERCITÉS, TER, Lyria, Eurostar (to the UK), Eurostar (to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany), and bus operators such as FlixBus and BlaBlaCar).

Connecting journeys are also eligible (e.g. TGV + TER), except temporarily for TGV + INTERCITÉS journeys and when you travel with the same carrier (e.g. TGV + TGV).

How does it work?

1. Book your trip on the SNCF Connect website or app.
2. At the payment step, select the “Pay in 3 or 4 instalments with Alma” option. You’ll see the schedule of payments and conditions displayed.
3. On Alma’s website, enter your personal and credit card details, then accept the terms of the agreement.
4. You’ll be redirected to the order summary on SNCF Connect to finalize your booking.

Example of payment in 3 instalments

For a purchase of €300, you pay 3 monthly instalments of €100 on the same calendar day each month.

Total financing amount: €300

Fees: €4.80 (i.e. 1.60% of the financed amount*) collected by Alma at the time of the first instalment.

Total amount due: €304.80

Maximum financing period: 2 months

• The first instalment (including fees) is charged on the day of the transaction,
• The second instalment on day 30 (D+30),
• The third instalment on day 60 (D+60).

*This rate may vary over time but will never exceed the usury rate regulated by the Banque de France.

Example of payment in 4 instalments

For a purchase of €400, you pay 4 monthly instalments of €100 on the same calendar day each month.

Total financing amount: €400

Fees: €9.20 (i.e. 2.3% of the financed amount*) collected by Alma at the time of the first instalment.

Total amount due: €409.20

Maximum financing period: 3 months

The first instalment (including fees) is charged on the day of the transaction,

• The second instalment on day 30 (D+30),
• The third instalment on day 60 (D+60),
• The fourth instalment on day 90 (D+90).

*This rate may vary over time but will never exceed the usury rate regulated by the Banque de France.

Terms of acceptance

Offers are reserved for individuals of legal age holding a CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron, Maestro, or Bancontact card valid for at least 4 months after the date the instalment payment agreement is signed. Prepaid and virtual cards are excluded.

Subject to approval of the instalment payment offer by Alma – 839 100 575 RCS Nanterre.

You have a legal right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of acceptance of the instalment payment agreement.

If your exchange results in an additional cost, payment in instalments with Alma will not be available.
