Languedoc-Roussillon-Pyrenees

Book a train ticket

In the south-west of France, Occitanie shares its borders with Spain. From Montpellier to Perpignan, the region runs along the Mediterranean then continues through the majestic Pyrenees mountains. Dominated by Toulouse inland, Occitanie is singing and greedy. With cassoulet, foie gras from Gers, Gascon chicken and brandade from Nîmes, not to mention its wines. You will enjoy it!

In winter, get lost in the mountains and enjoy nature. In autumn, stroll through the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyards and admire the impressive Cathar castles. In spring, marvel at the Cirque de Navacelles and follow in the footsteps of your ancestors in Tautavel. Finally in summer, sunbathe on the Canal du Midi and enjoy the heat of the south!

Right here!

Today, the charming district of Abattoirs in Montpellier is dynamic and bohemian to perfection. But that was not always the case. Until 1985, all the herds of sheep in the area used Boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle to join the huge slaughterhouses which were in full swing. All in the heart of the city!
