Reims

Reims station (also known as Reims Centre station) is a major railway station in the Grand Est region. It is located in the centre of Reims, unlike Champagne-Ardenne TGV station, which is 8 km from Reims. Close to the city centre and Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, Reims Centre station welcomes around 4 million passengers each year. The station is in the Clairmarais district of Reims. There are several green spaces nearby, perfect for waiting until your train arrives. The largest is the Promenades, a large two-part green space with a cycle path.

Getting to Reims station

Reims station is well served by public transport on the CITURA network. Tram lines A and B stop at Gare Centre. During the day, several bus lines run to the station, replaced at night by Noctambus line N.

Main connections from Reims station

Reims station is served by TGV INOUI trains for national services, notably to Paris (in around 45 minutes) and Strasbourg.

In addition, TER trains offer regular regional services from Reims station. You can travel to Châlons-en-Champagne, Épernay, Fismes, Laon, Sedan, Charleville-Mézières and Dijon, among others.

Caen

Caen station, located not far from the centre of the Caen metropolitan area, is one of the most important stations in Normandy.

It offers services for passengers, as well as a bicycle park and a large car park outside. It is equipped to welcome people with reduced mobility. If you have a little time before catching your train, you can visit the nearby Venelle aux Champs park. This relaxing wooded area is ideal for a stroll. You can also admire the Church of Saint-Jean in the district of the same name, which dates from the 15th century and is listed as a historic monument.

Getting to Caen station

The station is easy to reach by bus on the Twisto network, as well as on one of the three tram lines ("Gare SNCF" stop for lines T1 and T3, and "Gare - Rives de l'Orne" stop for line T2).

Main destinations from Caen station

Caen station has seven tracks and four platforms, with more than 3.5 million passengers a year. You can take many Train Nomad (TER Normandie) trains here, for connections to major French cities and towns in the region. Among the connections most frequently used by passengers every day are those to Cherbourg, Lisieux, Rouen, Saint-Lô, Bayeux and Argentan. From the station, journeys are available to Paris and to regional cities such as Le Mans, Tours and Rennes.
