Chez Bouboule, for pétanque addicts
Pétanque pitches are in abundance throughout the streets of Paris. But what do you do when it’s raining or too dark to point like a pro? Solution: take shelter in Chez Bouboule! They have three bars located in the neighbourhoods of Pigalle, Montorgueil and Oberkampf, and all three offer indoor pétanque terrains. So, grab a drinks menu and enjoy the warmth.
In between games, you can also nibble on tapas or enjoy a full meal. You have no more excuses for finishing on a “Fanny!”

Easily return to your childhood in this venue, where cocktails and sweets add to the party. And what’s more, no one will scold you if you’re still up at midnight.

Lavomatic, hidden in a launderette
At first glance, the small street of Rue René Boulanger, just off Place de la République, seems quite insignificant. And it certainly isn’t the dimly lit small launderette in number 30 that would suggest any different. And yet!
Pulling a dryer at the bottom of the room opens a door which leads you directly to Lavomatic: a cocktail bar nestled above in a small cosy apartment. It’s an intimate and warm atmosphere.

Lucha Libre - the ring awaits
Be warned, there’s no messing around here: Lucha Libre is the best (and the only) wrestling bar/restaurant in the world. Every first and third Friday of the month, we sweat, shout and applaud for the wrestlers in the ring of this little cellar.
They are professionals who perform stunt after stunt in a good-natured atmosphere with humour and self-deprecation, all while surrounded by the sweet smell of beer. And if you want to compete against your friends, that can also be arranged! Put on a padded suit and wrestle without mercy!

Trucmush, a bit of a haphazard setting
As its name suggests, we can’t quite get our head around Trucmush. From more than honest pricing (€3 for a pint during happy hour) to the decor featuring a bathtub as a table and car bumpers on the wall, everything is there to create the perfect setting for relaxing with friends.
The music selection is also excellent and theme nights (beer pong, blind test, etc.) are frequently organised. So make this your next venture!

Wall Street Bar, for the trainee traders
Take out your cigar and your best suit, because tonight you will assume the role of a finance shark. But don’t worry, it’s only the Wall Street Bar beverage exchange rate that you have to monitor. Because here, prices vary just like on the stock exchange!
The price of a Mojito is at its lowest? Buy it before it goes up! But beware of speculating. And when the siren sounds, it’s the stock market crash! All prices are then at their lowest for 100 seconds. You’ll see — it’s easy to get the hang of it.

Café des chats, friend of the felines
A concept originating in Tokyo and New York, “cat cafes” were introduced in Paris a few years ago. Here, around twenty feline friends are free to do as they please: jump on you, purr on your knees, leave, and meow. They love having humans around!
It’s perfect for satisfying your cat obsession while enjoying some tea, coffee or even a salmon quiche. Don’t worry, the animals are never locked up and are very well looked after.
