You know what ? All seasons are good for discovering Provence! In winter you can ski at the foot of the Alps in Montgenèvre or Orcières. Obviously with such magnificent landscapes, the cameras of the 7th art were quick to land in Provence! From 1903, the Lumières Brothers filmed “The Côte d'Azur seen from a train”. In the 1930s, it was Pagnol who immortalized his region in the cinema with several films. Since then, the great directors have followed one another: Steven Spielberg, Woody Allen, Ridley Scott, Luc Besson, François Truffaut.
