If Bordeaux remains famous throughout the world for its wines, the city can also be proud of its historic center classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its varied gastronomy, its cultural dynamism and its sunny climate. So many assets that make it a must-see destination in the South-West. One question remains: are you more cannelé or cake of kings?

The arrival of autumn marks the beginning of the harvest in the Bordeaux vineyards. But that's not all, the markets like the Capuchins market also offer a whole host of delicacies (Arcachon oysters, etc.). Flea markets enliven the streets during fine weather, as do the cheerful cafes terraces. The beautiful Jardin des Lumières becomes an essential place to stroll.

Right here!

In the heart of the city, the Pont de Pierre links the districts of Saint-Michel and Les Salinières, separated by the Garonne river - over a distance of 487 meters! Its construction was decided by Napoleon himself in 1810 and lasted nearly twelve years with 4000 workers involved. Clue of the emperor's megalomania: each of the seventeen arches of the bridge displays a letter of his surname, Napoleon Bonaparte.
