Saint-Etienne is the capital of design, astonishing, isn't it? In the 19th century, the city was already the industrial capital of Europe and since then it has not stopped creating! The first railway line was born there, as was one of the first French trams. Even today, Saint-Etienne is designated by Unesco as a “creative city for design”, and it is the only one in France!
