Lausanne

Located in Switzerland, Lausanne station is the main railway station in the canton of Vaud. Many trains use it every day, with a variety of destinations within Switzerland and abroad, including France.

The station enjoys an excellent location in the heart of the city of Lausanne. Easy to reach, it has all the facilities you need while you wait for your next train, including free Wi-Fi, left-luggage lockers, several shops open all day and facilities for people with reduced mobility.

How do I get to Lausanne station?

You will have no trouble getting to the station, whether on foot, by car or by public transport. The Lausanne-Gare stop on metro line M2 takes you right there. Several bus lines of the Lausanne region's public transport network also run there. If you are a cyclist, secure bicycle parking is available a few metres from the station.

What are the main destinations from Lausanne station?

Many national connections run from Lausanne station, with journeys to Geneva Airport, Zurich, Annemasse, Neuchâtel, Vallorbe, Fribourg and St. Gallen. Several connections to France are also available with TGV Lyria: you can travel to Paris Gare de Lyon via Dijon, for example. Nice-Ville

Nice-Ville station is a railway station located in the Thiers district, not far from Nice city centre. It is the city's main station, used by more than 6 million passengers a year.

There are several places to see around the station while you wait for your train. You can admire the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, with its two 30-metre-high square towers and its large rose window. Children can enjoy the play areas in Square Raimu, very close to the station. With its beautiful façades and many shops and restaurants, Avenue Jean Médecin is the city's main shopping street, less than 10 minutes' walk from the station.

Getting to Nice-Ville station

Nice station can be reached by public transport on the Nice Côte d'Azur urban community network. Tram line 1 stops nearby at Gare Thiers, around 200 metres away. Several bus lines also go right up to the station forecourt to make your journey easier.

Main connections from Nice-Ville station

The station offers both long-distance trains (TGV INOUI and OUIGO) and INTERCITÉS night trains. For regional services, various TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur trains regularly serve the station.

With seven tracks and four platforms, Nice station offers TGV services to Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg and Nancy. INTERCITÉS night sleeper trains to Paris-Austerlitz are also available. The TER Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur network offers many regional journeys from Nice, including to Antibes, Cannes, Toulon and Marseille.

Nice Saint-Augustin

Nice Saint-Augustin station is a railway station located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It has a very convenient location thanks to its proximity to Nice airport and Nice-Ville station, while also offering fast connections to major cities such as Cannes and Toulon.

With two platforms and two tracks, the station was inaugurated in its new form in September 2022. Built of wood with a large pergola, the station is unusual in that it can be completely dismantled so that it can be integrated in 2028 into the multimodal hub created around the future Nice-Aéroport station (which will also handle TGV trains).

How do I get to Nice St-Augustin station?

The station is easy to reach: you can get there directly on tram lines T2 and T3, as well as on several Lignes d'Azur bus lines that stop at "Grand Arénas".

What are the main destinations from Nice St-Augustin station?

The station is served daily by TER PACA trains for many journeys. It is a key hub on the TER PACA network. Many services are available, with journeys to Cannes, Antibes, Carnolès, Menton, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Toulon, Les Arcs - Draguignan and Saint-Raphaël.
