I purchased an Avantage or Liberté card on SNCF Connect , how can I withdraw?

Here’s how to exercise your right of withdrawal and obtain a refund for an Avantage or Liberté discount card purchased on SNCF Connect:

  • Go to the "Tickets" area on the website or app, or from your card purchase confirmation email,
  • Provide your order reference and the associated name,
  • Proceed with the cancellation of your card, you will be offered a detailed summary.

important :Terms and conditions:

  • The card can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase*,
  • The withdrawal request must be submitted via the same sales channel used for the purchase**,
  • No trip eligible for a discount with this card must have been taken,
  • No trip eligible for a discount with this card must be booked. If this is the case, cancel it before your request.

*In accordance with the right of withdrawal of Articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you may make your cancellation request within 14 days of purchase (remote).

After this 14-day withdrawal period, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible, even if the validity date has not passed.

**If your card was purchased on the website, the cancellation must be made on the website; if it was purchased on the app, it must be cancelled on the app. If you purchased your discount card from another point of sale :

  • At a self-service machine: your claim must be made online using the SNCF form
  • Other online Travel agencies, 3635: you benefit from the right of withdrawal as set out above, through the same purchase channel.
  • In railway stations and/or SNCF stores, physical travel agencies: The right of withdrawal does not apply, the discount card is not refundable after purchase, even before the card's validity date.

Does the right of withdrawal apply to SNCF subscriptions?

You may exercise your right of withdrawal when purchasing the following subscriptions: Weekly or Monthly Pass, MAX ACTIF, MAX ACTIF+, MAX JEUNE and MAX SENIOR.

To submit your request and obtain a refund for a subscription purchased on SNCF Connect:

  • Go to the "Tickets" area on the website or app, or from the email confirming your subscription purchase,
  • Provide your order reference and the associated name,
  • Proceed with the cancellation of your subscription, you will be offered a detailed summary.

ConditionsTerms and conditions:

  • The subscription can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase,
  • The withdrawal request must be submitted via the same sales channel used for the purchase,
  • The subscription must not have been used for a past trip,
  • The subscription must not be used for a future trip. If this is the case, cancel it before your request.

Good to know

For TER discount cards and subscriptions, the 14-day withdrawal period after purchase does not apply. For cancellation and refund terms and conditions, refer to the PDF of your card or subscription received in the purchase confirmation e-mail.
