The top 5 terraces in Paris
No it's not always gray and gloomy in Paris ...! Sometimes the sunrays shine on the roofs, to deliver a light panorama that will take your breath away. And to make the most of it, we give you the key addresses that every Parisian should know or only for sunbathing if you are passing through.
1. For breathtaking views of Paris
Head to Printemps Haussmann (Printemps maison) offering panoramic views of Paris. This leading department store has an incredible terrace where you can capture the city at a glance. It features a scenic roof garden dotted with a few chaises longues and voilà. The menu isn’t outstanding. You come here for the views. I recommend dropping into the department store on a Thursday night. Unlike other evenings, it's open until 10pm.

Head to Mama Shelter in the XXth arrondissement. We take the elevator to the top floor and it feels like a vacation. Hammocks, mattresses, ping-pong table ... There is plenty of fun with friends in the sun.
You can also eat there in the evening if you want to extend the experience, the tables are dressed with small lamps which create another more intimate atmosphere.
Between barbecued meat or fish, generous plates and the tart of the day, it's simple and good, but to have a view of Paris, you have to pay the price.

Go to the Square des Batignolles in the 17th arrondissement. Facing the Square, the Felixio offers an ideal setting for a brunch on the terrace. The terrace is huge, you will inevitably find a small place in the sun. When it's cold, it's even heated.
Three brunch formulas are available. Try the burger brunch experience with 2 mini burger (chicken bacon and cheese), apple turnover, cottage cheese… After brunch, all you have to do is take a stroll in the square before going take a walk in the bobo district of Batignolles. For a romantic dinner on a patio
Head to the Marais for a small patio nestled in a courtyard filled with trees and sunshine ... It is at Jaja, sheltered from the crowds of rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, that we will have dinner for two.
Behind a door, a little secret haven. And on the tables, generous plates, with fresh products that renew the menu over the seasons. The wine list is quite extensive (around ten great vintages are available for tasting).
