Why is Thalys becoming Eurostar?
If you're accustomed to traveling on Thalys, you know that Thalys trains connect France (Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport) to the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Schiphol Airport) through Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp and Liège), as well as Germany (Aachen, Cologne, Düsseldorf and its airport, Duisburg, Essen, and Dortmund). They also travel, much to the delight of children (and adults), to Marne-la-Vallée Disneyland® Paris!
In the winter, Thalys Snow trains also take you skiing to the most beautiful destinations in the French Alps such as Bourg-St-Maurice, Chambéry, Landry, Albertville, and Moûtiers.
During the summer, it's the Thalys Sun trains that take you sunbathing in Provence and the South of France through Valence, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille.
Starting from October, in addition to these destinations, you'll also be able to cross the English Channel to the United Kingdom and stroll through the streets of London. An opportunity to embark on a journey of discovering new horizons.
