TGV INOUI Europe services

Tickets on sale, for a non-connecting journey made in France and to a selection of destinations in Europe (Belgium and the Netherlands with Thalys, England with Eurostar, Germany with Thalys and DB-SNCF in cooperation, 'Spain with TGV INOUI, Italy with TGV INOUI and Switzerland with TGV Lyria, Brussels and Luxembourg with TGV INOUI, on certain days and on certain trains, subject to availability. Tickets exchangeable and refundable under conditions, For Eurostar, tickets are non-refundable but exchangeable free of charge up to 14 days before the departure of the train with a price difference payable by the customer. For TGV INOUI tickets to Europe, sale and information at self-service terminals , in train stations, SNCF shops, by telephone on 3635 (free service + price call), from approved SNCF travel agencies and on www.sncf-connect.com.

(1) Car rental with AVIS

Covid-19: For all customers impacted by travel bans linked to the Coronavirus, online cancellation - free of charge - is possible for any reservation starting before 15/12/2020 made from France or abroad. For all "Prepayment" customers impacted by the travel bans related to the Coronavirus and for reservations in France or internationally from the SNCF Connect website, the cancellation fees will also be free.

- (1) Car rental with AVIS® with a vehicle pickup in mainland France (1):

o Offer subject to conditions:

Valid on AVIS France prepaid rates for the general public, excluding surcharges, additional protection and insurance, for departures in France (excluding Corsica), for all rentals of 1 to 30 days. The usual rental conditions, particularly regarding age, driver qualification and payment must be respected (see the brochure of the General Rental Conditions) for AVIS:  https://www.avis.fr/conditions-generales-avis)

o Discount cards, Subscription and Loyalty reductions:

Concerning all car bookings associated with a train ticket; SNCF Connect customers benefit from discounts at the AVIS rental company all year round. This reduction is available for payment when booking for all categories of vehicles except: AVIS Prestige, Select Series and commercial vehicles and subject to availability of vehicles at the time of booking. Discounts valid all year round cannot be combined with one-off promotional offers (more information at https://www.sncf-connect.com/train/services-train/train-avis).

• All customers benefit from -10% on AVIS France prices for the general public (including arrival in a OUIGO train),
• Holders of a Loyalty or Weekend, Senior, Young, Family or Liberté discount card, a subscription or a Pro rate (Business 1ère and Pro 2nde) benefit from -15% (except if you arrive in Ouigo). 

o An option offered :

If you have a Carte Liberté, a Pro ticket (Business 1ere or Pro 2nde) or a Voyageur, Grand Voyageur, Grand Voyageur Plus, Grand Voyageur Le Club loyalty card, you benefit from an option offered at the rental company AVIS (additional driver, baby seat, booster seat, etc.) when booking in mainland France. Note that the additional driver must respect the age and license conditions of AVIS France and that baby seats or booster seats are within the limits of available stocks.

o A second option offered for Business 1ère:

Benefit from the upgrade offered in mainland France with the rental company AVIS. This option cannot be booked online, on arrival at an AVIS agency and on presentation of your Business 1ère train ticket, you will benefit from the upgrade, subject to the availability of a car. The upgrade is offered when you pick up the vehicle at an AVIS agency, on category A to D vehicles, for a maximum rental period of 14 days. As an exception, the upgrade cannot be offered when using the vehicle provision service.

o Options available from the AVIS rental company:

• One Way: Ask Avis
• GPS rental: € 16 per day (maximum 12 days charged)
• WI-FI: € 10.99 per day
• Travel Partner: 9 € per day
• Delivery / return of the vehicle: € 19 from 0 to 10 km and € 0.93 per additional km
• Additional driver: 11 € TTC per rental day per driver (maximum 12 days charged)
• Pair of chains / ski / snowboard carriers: € 12 per day and per equipment (maximum 5 days charged)
• Baby seat: € 12 per day (maximum 7 days charged)
• Booster seat: 6 € per day (maximum 7 days charged)
• DIS (diesel option): € 3.99 including tax per day

o Guarantee at the best price:

For all car rentals, AVIS guarantees you the cheapest price on the market. If you find cheaper elsewhere, AVIS will reimburse you twice the difference. See the reimbursement conditions in an AVIS agency or on https://www.avis.fr/bons-plans/partenaires/sncf/offre-de-remboursement-de-la-difference

o Provision of keys:

Outside the opening hours of the AVIS rental agency, your rental contract and the keys to your vehicle can be given to you by an SNCF agent in mainland France. This service is offered with AVIS, and by paying €9.99 with BUDGET. Below is the list of the few stations that do not offer the key provision service:

CDG 2 TGV AIRPORT and PARIS NORD. This service is not available for any arrival at a station in Ouigo.

- (2) Car rental with AVIS with a vehicle pick-up from an international destination (outside mainland France):

o Are you going from France to abroad? On your arrival at the station (outside mainland France), all SNCF Connect customers benefit from -10% on their car rental with the rental company AVIS subject to presentation of their SNCF train ticket at the agency.

- (3) Car rental with AVIS with a vehicle pick-up from mainland France for international customers:

o Are you going from abroad to mainland France? On your arrival at the station in France, all SNCF Connect international customers will benefit from the same advantages with the rental company AVIS  as car rentals with a vehicle pick-up from Metropolitan France mentioned in paragraph (1) subject to presentation of their train ticket at an agency.
