Lyon Part Dieu station is located in the district of the same name in the Lyon metropolitan area. Welcoming regional, national and international passengers, it is Lyon's main station and one of the largest French stations in terms of passenger numbers.

At the station, you can visit the vast shopping centre, with more than 200 shops, around forty restaurants and cinemas. Near the station, don't miss Les Halles de Lyon, one of the symbols of local gastronomy with its well-stocked stalls.

Getting to Lyon Part-Dieu station

Lyon Part-Dieu has the advantage of being easy to reach on the metropolitan area's public transport. Fifteen TCL bus lines stop at Gare Part Dieu, as do metro line B and tram lines T1 and T3.

Main connections from Lyon Part-Dieu station

Many rail operators serve Lyon Part-Dieu station, with services both within France and abroad.

On the conventional network, you can take INTERCITÉS trains to Nantes, as well as TER trains running to many towns such as Villefranche-sur-Saône, Mâcon and Dijon, with various destinations also available in the PACA region (Arles, Orange, Vitrolles, Marseille). Regional services include the towns of Roanne, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble and Bourgoin-Jallieu.

TGV connections (TGV INOUI and OUIGO) run to various French cities, including Paris, Lille, Marseille, Nice, Montpellier and Perpignan, among others. There are also international services, by TGV to Brussels or Luxembourg.

TER coaches are available to passengers from the nearby bus station. They serve a few towns, such as Grenoble, Saint-Étienne and Annecy, and the Rhône Express shuttle runs between the station and St. Exupéry airport.
