Angers Saint-Laud station is an important railway station in the Maine-et-Loire department. Its central regional position allows it to offer many lines serving both the surrounding towns and national destinations.

Angers station has comprehensive facilities, with a passenger building offering a food area, a newsagent, a post office and a pharmacy. While waiting for a connection, you can visit Angers Castle, a few hundred metres away. Also known as the Château des Ducs d'Anjou, this tourist site is famous for housing the Apocalypse Tapestry.

Getting to Angers Saint-Laud station

The station is easy to reach by public transport. It has the advantage of being served by the various buses of the Irigo network and those of the Aléop network in Maine-et-Loire. You can also get there on tram lines A and C, stopping at "Les Gares".

Various operators stop at the station, including high-speed trains (TGV INOUI and OUIGO), OUIGO Train Classique, INTERCITÉS trains and TER Pays de la Loire trains.

Angers Saint-Laud station is served by TGV INOUI trains to various major French cities, including Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseille and Montpellier, mostly departing from or arriving in Nantes. OUIGO offers journeys between Nantes and Paris. INTERCITÉS trains run return services to Nantes and Lyon. Finally, TER Pays de la Loire trains take you to a large number of towns, including Saumur, Cholet, Le Mans, Rennes, Orléans and Tours.

The bus station is on the station forecourt. Various connections are available, with coaches serving towns in the region as well as major French and foreign cities.
