If your train is fully booked, choose the option 'Be notified if a ticket is available.' This solution allows you to activate an alert for a train for which there are no more available tickets. Thus, as soon as a seat becomes available, you'll be informed that booking a ticket is possible.

infosCurrently, the service is only offered on the app for non-stop journeys.

How to activate a full train alert ?

Visit the SNCF Connect app and make sure you are logged into your customer account under the 'Account' section. Then, start your ticket search and simply press the 'Be notified if a ticket is available' option for the desired route.

Once your alert is created, you will be placed on a waiting list, and depending on your position, you will receive a notification when a seat is available. You need to be responsive because upon receiving the notification, you have a limited time frame to make your booking (between 10 minutes and 2 hours depending on the departure date of your train).

infosCurrently, the service is limited to 30 people on the waiting list per train. If the option does not appear for your journey, the limit may have been reached.

To know your ranking on the waiting list and manage your activated alerts, go to the 'Account' section in the app, then the 'Available tickets alerts' tab.
