Unrivalled time saving
There’s no doubt about it: the train is the fastest way to travel between Paris and Switzerland. It takes an average of three hours for Geneva < > Paris Gare de Lyon. Travelling the same distance by plane takes one hour longer.
And yes! Even though you spend less time in the air than on the rails, the total time it takes to get to the airport and go through security is greater than the time it takes for a train to reach the same destination.
By travelling with TGV Lyria, you also emit on average 101 times less CO² than the car and 56 times less than the plane — another reason why you should take the train for your business trips.
A renewed fleet of trains
Good news: in 2020, the TGV Lyria fleet was updated with more comfortable trains. In Première Signature, get even more space for your legs and enjoy a stylish and bright interior.
The frequency of trains is also higher, with an average of ten departures every day from each destination. Now that’s flexibility.
Switzerland, a business travel hub
With its banks, large companies (Nestlé, Roche and Adecco to name a few) and handicrafts that need no introduction (Swiss watchmaking and chocolate!), Switzerland offers many opportunities for jobs and business.
But the country also offers an exceptional quality of life. Treat yourself to an extended business trip and spend a relaxing weekend at your destination. Choose from cultural programmes, nature walks and gastronomic discoveries depending on your location.
