Book free of charge on certain TGV INOUI, OUIGO Grande Vitesse and INTERCITÉS trains with compulsory booking and on many destinations in France, to Luxembourg and Freiburg im Breisgau (outside peak periods).

MAX SENIOR conditions
You can lock in up to 6 journeys with your subscription. You will be notified several times:
by e-mail, D-7 before departure,
a final reminder is sent to you D-1 before departure.
Confirm your journey in your MAX SENIOR area before 5pm the day before your journey. Without confirmation from you, your bookings will be automatically cancelled.
To travel, you will be asked for your e-ticket and identity document during on-board inspection.

In the event of overcrowding on an eligible train, your seat is not guaranteed on the train concerned. In this case, you will be notified before your journey is confirmed.

MAX SENIOR bookings open 30 days before departure (and not 90 days as for standard bookings) and are in 2nd class.

If you are not offered any trains, sign up via the MAX SENIOR alert sent to you to receive notification as soon as new MAX SENIOR trains go on sale.
Certain €0 trains at peak times are not open to the MAX SENIOR subscription

By subscribing to MAX SENIOR you commit to a minimum of 3 months. During this period, cancellation is not permitted.
After this 3-month period, you can cancel your subscription at any time, subject to a €15 handling fee. After 12 months, you can cancel your subscription free of charge.

If you have a disability card and need a seat booked for wheelchair users:
log in to your Max area up to 48 hours before the departure of the train

No, the transportation of a fully assembled/unfolded bike is not authorised with a MAX SENIOR ticket.

There are several scenarios in which you can be blocked from booking your tickets:
- Your journey counter may be full: you can anticipate up to 6 journeys at a time, beyond which you cannot make an additional booking. To check your journey counter, go to your Max area. If you have 5 booked journeys + 1 ticket in your basket, you will not be able to place a new ticket in your basket, nor will you be able to place two tickets in your basket for the same day and the same city.
- If you are travelling with friends who are also MAX SENIOR subscribers, you must make separate bookings.
- Do you already have a booking from this city for the same day? Only one booking per day from the same city is permitted with your MAX SENIOR subscription.
- If you carry out searches and do not validate your order, remember to delete it from your basket.

The MAX SENIOR fare at €0 cannot be exchanged. It allows you to cancel your ticket at no cost until the train departs.
The MAX AVANTAGE SENIOR fare gives you greater flexibility: you can exchange or cancel your ticket free of charge up to 7 days before departure. From 6 days before departure, fees apply: €19 per person per journey for TGV INOUI, or 40% of the ticket price (with a maximum of €15) for INTERCITÉS with compulsory booking. Up to 30 minutes before departure, an exchange is still possible (limited to one) at the same cost. However, tickets exchanged within this period are no longer refundable.
For journeys with connections, these fees are only applied once. Finally, once the train has departed, the MAX AVANTAGE SENIOR fare is neither exchangeable nor refundable, unless the ticket has been made available again prior to departure.
