Enjoy three unforgettable days in the heart of Paris
Once there, you can enjoy a few days of total relaxation, with plenty of time to explore. Why not start by visiting the Louvre Museum? Formerly the palace of the kings of France, it is now the largest museum in the world, inviting you to discover splendid collections of antiquities, paintings and sculptures spread across its three wings. Descending into the heart of the magnificent glass pyramid is an experience in itself. You can then walk to the Place de la Concorde via the Jardin des Tuileries or stroll under the arcades of the Rue de Rivoli. Souvenir shops and typical Parisian cafés await you. After a busy day, treat yourself to an evening cruise on a bateau-mouche, to admire the capital's most beautiful monuments illuminated.
Your second day in Paris could, for example, be devoted to discovering the city's most iconic monuments, real historical landmarks. Start by climbing to the top floor of the "Iron Lady", the Eiffel Tower. The result is a panoramic view of Paris, but also a good workout if you choose to take the stairs back down from the second floor. Then your steps will lead you to "the most beautiful avenue in the world", the Champs Élysées. One of the most popular spots in Paris, you'll find plenty of restaurants and big-name shops here. Take a gourmet break in the Ladurée tearoom! The majestic Arc de Triomphe is well worth a visit, with its magnificent views over the Place de l'Étoile and the Champs Élysées as far as the Place de la Concorde. In the evening, you might like to take time out for dinner in the Latin Quarter and pay a visit to the world-famous, thousand-year-old cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris.
Finally, for your last day in the capital, it's impossible not to head north of Paris to discover the unique atmosphere of the Montmartre district. Breakfast on Place du Tertre will immerse you in the Bohemian atmosphere, before you head to the Sacré-Coeur basilica. Feel free to enter and admire the interior of this iconic Parisian monument, and take time to enjoy the panoramic view from the Butte Montmartre. And if you still have a few hours before catching your train home, take a leisurely stroll back down to the Seine to immerse yourself in the bustling districts of Les Halles and Le Marais, where you'll find a host of small boutiques, as well as a multitude of restaurants where you can enjoy a brunch on the terrace. And if you like contemporary art, don't hesitate to visit the famous Centre Pompidou, which is as fascinating for its fine collections of paintings and sculptures as for its unrivalled architecture.
